Schedule your furniture donation pickup to keep your gently used furniture out of the landfill and provide it to families in need!
Pickup Options:
FREE! Our free pickup zone is within 10 miles of our warehouse on the North Side. Not sure if you qualify? Complete the first part of our online pickup form (button at bottom of page) to find out.
For pickups outside of our 10 mile zone, contact us at info@offthefloorpgh.org for a pickup charge quote. Please provide a list of items you would like to donate, photos of your item(s), phone number and pickup address and we will provide a quote for pickup service. Currently, the charge is $7 per mile from our warehouse to you, one way.
Drop-off Option: You can always drop off your items to our warehouse, 901 Allegheny Avenue, Monday to Friday from 11:00am to 3:00pm. We are located in the back of the Pittsburgh Presbytery office building and no appointment is necessary.
Please note: We cannot take mattresses, china cabinets, buffet tables, sleeper sofas, medical and exercise equipment, pianos, appliances, entertainment centers, building materials, patio/outdoor furniture, glass-top tables or upholstered items that have been exposed to pets. To treat our clients with dignity and respect, we cannot accept items that are stained, ripped, worn, missing parts or damaged in any way. We inspect all items upon pickup or drop-off and reserve the right to refuse anything unsuitable for our clients.
We DO accept area rugs and bed linens (washed, gently used sheets, blankets and comforters in sizes twin, twin XL, full and queen).
Effective January 1, 2024, we no longer accept used mattresses. We DO accept box springs in all sizes except for king.
