Why Furniture?

A person or family without the financial means to furnish their home is considered to live in furniture poverty. These people live in an empty and closed-off environment that doesn’t encourage them or build community.

Your used furniture donation can change the life of someone in need. Furniture is essential in creating a warm, welcoming, comfortable home environment which in turn is essential to unlocking one’s potential to live a productive and fulfilling life.

Volunteers

We are looking for either individuals or a team of volunteers willing to assist with furniture deliveries and pickups. We need willing volunteers, committed to service, who would be comfortable driving our truck, picking up donated furniture, and unloading in our warehouse in the Northside, or delivering the furniture to families in need. Such teams allow us to increase the amount of used furniture we pick up and ultimately help us serve more families each year. Sound interesting?
