Off the Floor is a faith-based organization which, since 2004, has provided gently used furniture items to disadvantaged families who lack them. Items may include beds, dressers, tables, chairs, couches, recliners, tv stands, end tables, linens, lamps, rugs and more.
Our goal is to serve 1,000 households this year! To meet this goal we require a continuous stream of gently used furniture donations, as well as volunteers to serve on teams to pick up and deliver the furniture. Monetary contributions help to cover the operational expenses for our warehouse located on the North Side.
We are looking for either individuals or a team of volunteers who are available during the week to help organize the warehouse, clean furniture, and stage items for the next delivery.
